MoMA Nights


First Thursdays, 5:30–8:45 p.m.

Beginning in January, MoMA will stay open until 8:45 p.m. on the first Thursday of each month. Stop by after hours to enjoy full access to the galleries and theaters, free Gallery Talks, a cash bar and DJ in the Marron Atrium, and a special prix fixe dinner in Cafe 2.

Gallery Talks
Free with Admission
MoMA educators give engaging talks in the galleries at 5:30, 6:30, and 7:30 p.m. Groups meet the lecturer on the second floor bridge next to the Marron Atrium. Gallery talks are approximately 45 minutes in duration. For enhanced hearing in the galleries, FM headsets and neck loops are available at the meeting spot.

Prix Fixe Dinner
6:00–8:00 p.m., Cafe 2 (floor 2)
In addition to the regular menu, a special prix fixe dinner created by Chef Lynn Bound is available for $25 (not including beverage). Dinner begins with antipasti, followed by an appetizer, entree, and dessert.

Cash Bar
5:30–8:00 p.m., Marron Atrium (floor 2)
Visit the cash bar for a variety of beverages, including specialty cocktails.

Music
DJ AJ Slim
The Virginia Beach native has sculpted her passion for cratedigging into a true craftsmanship on the turntables. She spins everything from house to rare soul, afrobeat, and funk.

Regular Museum admission applies.
